Fred L Miller
Fred Miller (E-RYT 500) is a certified Viniyoga teacher and Viniyoga therapist. He has practiced yoga for 37 years and taught for 35 years. He is the author of the Top Ten best selling ‘How To Calm Down Even If You’re Absolutely, Totally Nuts’ –‘The Back Pain Cure’ and ‘Yoga for Common Aches & Pain.’
Fred worked in television for 25 years in both blue collar and white-collar jobs. He has written for prime-time network television and produced and directed documentary and educational films. His stint at a large New York advertising agency is what drove him absolutely nuts until he learned to calm down. Yoga is what saved his sanity and facilitated a long, successful career in the entertainment industry.
Fred is also a student of Tai Chi, Chi Gong, Aikido, Alexander Technique & Feldencrise. He has traveled and studied in India, Nepal, Tibet, Jerusalem and the Rain Forest of Peru. He has lectured at the UCLA School of Medicine, has taught relaxation techniques to cancer patients and is certified by the California State Bar to teach Meditation to attorneys. Fred conducted workshops at the Southwest Yoga Conference and at Rancho La Puerta. He is a Blue Cross of California provider of Complementary Medicine
Fred earned a BA in Communications from San Francisco State University. He is an Executive Coach certified through the Professional School of Psychology by the state of California and a member of the National Speakers Association, International Coach Federation, Professional Coaches and Mentors Association, Writers Guild of America, Directors Guild of America, PEN and International Association of Yoga Therapists.
