I started teaching Yoga in 1997. When I began encountering a wide variety of physical limitations in participants, I realized that I needed more training to effectively offer Yoga in a way that could help them. During a Yoga Conference in 2002, I participated in a class about Yoga Therapy from Gary Kraftsow. I immediately knew that the methodology of Viniyoga would provide the deeper knowledge that I wanted to learn. I completed Viniyoga Teacher Training (2002-2004) and Viniyoga Therapist Training (2012-2013).

Using the many tools I learned through both training programs provides numerous benefits for my personal health and well-being. Applying these teachings to help others is incredibly fulfilling and inspiring. Simple tools can make a BIG difference in the quality of life for someone. What a gift to be able to share this wisdom!

The icing on the cake is that I met my husband because of Viniyoga :-). We start each day doing our personal Viniyoga practices together. Life is very good!
