I majored in both Biology and Environmental Studies (2000), but wanted to interact with the world more at a heart level. In 2005, I majored in Dance and discovered Yoga and Buddhism around the same time. I started teaching in 2005, but a year later a major car/bicycle accident turned my life upside down. Through healing, I learned the importance of the deeper aspects of yoga. My yogic studies continued in the Viniyoga tradition with Mirka Kraftsow (I am certified as a 200 level Viniyoga Wellness Instructor) and with Gary Kraftsow (Certified as a 500 hour Viniyoga teacher and IAYT Certified Viniyoga Therapist). My Buddhist studies continue through annual retreats, daylongs and a regular sitting/asana practice.

I’ve taught group classes since 2005 and I offer private sessions for more in-depth instruction tailored to each individual’s specific need.
