Definitions of AVI Professional Training Programs
Certified Viniyoga Therapist - Yoga Therapist
Completed:
- a 500 hour Viniyoga Teacher Training
- OR - one of the AVI Foundation programs plus
- a 500 hour AVI Viniyoga Therapist clinical training program
- either option includes at least 100 hours of Yoga Therapy with individuals and groups
Certified 500 hour Viniyoga Teacher - Viniyoga Foundations Program
Completed:
- the 500 hour AVI Viniyoga Teacher Training or Viniyoga Foundations Program for Teaching and Yoga Therapy
- Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School)
300 hour Advanced Viniyoga Studies - Viniyoga Foundations Program
Completed:
- all course requirements in the Viniyoga Foundations Program for Teaching and Yoga Therapy for yoga teachers with at least a 200 hour yoga teacher training
- Meets Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School RYT-500 requirements for 300 hour programs
300 hour Health Professional Option - Viniyoga Foundations Program
Completed:
- all course requirements in the Viniyoga Foundations Program for Teaching and Yoga Therapy for licensed/registered/certified health professionals
- Meets Yoga Alliance RYT-200 requirements and more
Foundation for Yoga Therapy Training
Completed:
- all course requirements in the AVI Foundation for Yoga Therapy Training, a Viniyoga immersion for yoga teachers from other lineages, approximately 160 hours
