Viniyoga Foundations Program for Teaching & Yoga Therapy
2011 - 2013 WEST COAST PROGRAM

LOGISTICS
The Viniyoga Foundations Program for Teaching and Yoga Therapy is held at Mount Madonna Center in Watsonville, California in residential retreats (12 nights, 11 days), approximately six months apart. Attendance requirements depend on prior experience and professional goals.

SESSION DATES
Session 1: July 24 - August 5, 2011
The program will begin on July 24, 2011 at 7:00 pm and end on August 5, 2011 at 1:00 pm. Breakfast and lunch are included through August 5, 2011.
Session 2: February 12 - 24, 2012
The program will begin on February 12, 2012 at 7:00 pm and end on February 24, 2012 at 1:00 pm. Breakfast and lunch are included through February 24, 2012.
Session 3: August 12 - 24, 2012
The program will begin on August 12, 2012 at 7:00 pm and end on August 24, 2012 at 1:00 pm. Breakfast and lunch are included through August 24, 2011.
Session 4: February 10 - 22, 2013 (Optional for 300 hour)
The program will begin on February 10, 2013 at 7:00 pm and end on February 22, 2013 at 12 noon. Breakfast and lunch are included through February 22, 2013. A commencement ceremony will be held from 10:30 - 12 noon on February 22, 2013.
TUITION & LODGING AT MOUNT MADONNA
Tuition is $2626 per session and is due 1 month in advance of the start of the session. Tuition paid at least 3 months in advance of a training will be discounted by $250.
Room and Board is dependent on the type of lodging reserved. The following tables show the amount per session by lodging type.

MMC adds a 3% administrative charge to the tuition and room and board fees. Room and board includes dinner on the day of check-in as well as breakfast and lunch on the departure day.

CANCELLATION POLICY
For tuition with AVI: tuition deposit is returned minus a $250 administration fee.
For lodging with MMC: if you cancel more than 14 days before the program begins, all but $100 of the housing cost will be refunded. There are no refunds for cancellations received less than 14 days before the beginning of the program.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
A limited number of work-study positions are available. The first step is to apply for the program. If you are accepted, contact the AVI Student Advisor for a Work-Study Application Form.
