The American Viniyoga™ Institute (AVI) is a leader in training yoga teachers and Yoga Therapists in Viniyoga. We honor the integrity of ancient teachings while making them relevant and practical today.
We currently offer the following professional training programs:
200 hour Viniyoga Wellness Instructor Training
The 200 hour Viniyoga Wellness Instructor Training is an opportunity to develop a deeper relationship to your own personal practice and inspire others through teaching in the time-honored and authentic tradition of Viniyoga as transmitted by Gary Kraftsow and the American Viniyoga Institute through his senior teachers. The 200 hour Viniyoga Wellness Instructor Program meets Yoga Alliance's Registered Yoga School 200-hour registration requirements for yoga teachers.
Foundations Program for Teaching and Yoga Therapy
The AVI Viniyoga™ Foundations Program for Teaching and Yoga Therapytraining is a flexible program design that affords the opportunity for students to select a program track based on their prior training and career path. AVI respects what you already know about yoga and offers the opportunity to advance your studies of Viniyoga ™ for personal development, teaching or to enter the AVI Viniyoga Therapist Training.
The Viniyoga Foundations for Teaching and Yoga Therapy is approved by Yoga Alliance at the 300 and 500 hour level:
- 500 hour Viniyoga Teacher Training
- 300 hour Viniyoga Studies
The AVI Viniyoga™ Therapist Training Program prepares experienced Viniyoga™ teachers to work with individuals with structural, physiological and emotional conditions. Our program emphasizes the development of clinical skills in Viniyoga™ Therapy for work with individuals and groups.
