Military Spouses Now Approved for Tuition Assistance for AVI Viniyoga Foundations Program for Teaching and Yoga Therapy

Friday, October 07, 2011 -

AVI has been approved by the Department of Defense for MyCAA (Military Career Advance Accounts) funding for military spouses. We are currently in the process of setting up the necessary accounts to make this available to eligible recipients.

The MyCAA program provides up to $4000 in tuition to SPOUSES of active duty military members in the ranks of E1-E5, O1-O2, W1-W2. The program must result in a certification and must be completed within 18 months of the start date.

The AVI Viniyoga Foundations Program for Teaching and Yoga Therapy - 500 hr Viniyoga Teacher Training option (2011 program at Mount Madonna Center, Watsonville, CA and the 2012 program at Yogaville, Buckingham, VA) meet these criteria. Spouses interested in using this program can email Beth at bethw@viniyoga.com for more information.

For more information on the Viniyoga Foundations Program, contact the AVI student advisor, Dona Robinson at donar@viniyoga.com. We have a late entry option available in December 2011 for anyone interested in the West Coast program. The Viniyoga Foundations Program at Yogaville (East Coast program) starts June 2012.
