A Viniyoga Stress Break at Indiana University Health

Saturday, June 11, 2011 -

Dona Robinson, AVI Viniyoga Teacher and Yoga Therapist Graduate, presented a 15 minute Viniyoga relaxation sequence to 1,500  Indiana University Health leaders and managers on June 9 and 10, 2011.

Indiana University Health is a major health care provider in the state of Indiana. Dr. Howard Friedman, a participant in Gary Kraftsow’s workshop at CITYOGA in Indianapolis this spring, was instrumental in bringing Dona's Viniyoga program into Indiana University Health.

Indiana University Health will make Dona's Viniyoga "stress break" sequence available to employees on-line to help make stress reduction a daily habit.

In addition to her active teaching and Yoga Therapy practice, Dona Robinson is Student Advisor for the American Viniyoga Institute.  She has been teaching yoga for over 12 years and has advised many students who are inspired to teach.   Dona enjoys talking with yoga practitioners about becoming a yoga teacher through AVI's Viniyoga Foundations Program for Teaching and Yoga Therapy. The Viniyoga Foundations Program starts July 24, 2011 at Mount Madonna Center in Watsonville, CA.  You can contact Dona at studentadvisor@viniyoga.com
